Biographies of Women Writers

The biographies of women writers provide insight into their lives and works. They also look at the reception of their work by their contemporary audience and since.

This resource is still continuing to grow as new biographies are added:  a growing resource for biographies of European Women Writers prior to 1900.   The Library is very grateful to all the contributors, who have generously given their time and expertise.
